PUBG

PUBG is another immensely popular game that has had a long history of development. Released in 2017, it quickly became one of the most played games on PC. Unlike Fortnite, however, PUBG does not feature a Creative mode. The game is instead focused around tactical battle royale gameplay where players must fight to be the last person standing.

What is Fortnite Battle Royale?

Fortnite Battle Royale is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game created by Epic Games and released in September 2017. It is based on the Unreal Engine 4 and relies on Player Destruction to create an adrenaline-fueled experience where players must scavenge weapons and equipment to fight against others in a battle to be the last one standing. Fortnite features both Creative and Professional modes that can be played by up to 100 players at once.

PUBG is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bluehole Ginno Games as an Orthodox sequel to the 2009 Korean PC game, PUBG. Released for Microsoft Windows via Valve’s Steam platform on March 23, 2017, it was then ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 12, 2017. PUBG has since been released for iOS devices, Android devices, and Nintendo Switch.

How can Facial Scanner be turned OFF?

Facial Scanner is a face-scanning feature in Fortnite that automatically distinguishes players in the game by their faces. Some players may find this feature creepy, and would like to disable it. Unfortunately, disabling facial scanning is not as easy as one might think. 

Here are five ways to do it: 

1) Open the Settings menu in Fortnite and select Game Settings.

2) Under Privacy, uncheck the box next to Use Facial Scanner.

3) Under Controls, toggle the Use Controller Scans option off.

4) On PC, open the Steam settings and uncheck the box that says "Allow games from other developers to use facial recognition." 

5) On iOS devices, go to Settings and select General. Tap on Restrictions and then turn Off Face ID and Biometric ID.
